NH Bacon & Beer Festival: May 18, 2019

We are so excited about our 4th annual NH Bacon & Beer Festival, happening from 1:30-4 pm Saturday, May 18. Tickets went on sale March 30 at 8 am, and sold out in minutes! Congrats to the lucky folks who snagged tickets and will be attending this epic day of food and fun!

Big news! We have had such an incredible turnout for the past three years that this time, we’ve amped it up and are holding the event at the Anheuser-Busch brewery fairgrounds, 221 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH. And back by popular demand, local rockers The Slakas will be burning up the stage with classic rock. It’s going to be another home-run event!

British Cars of NH's Show of Dreams: July 27, 2019

Every year, British Cars of NH holds its spectacular Show of Dreams, where members showcase their incredible collection of classic and luxury vehicles. BCNH has been a great friend to High Hopes Foundation for many years, donating a portion of the event proceeds to our organization.

This year, the event will be held 10 am-3 pm Saturday, July 27, 2019, at the Alvirne Hills House in Hudson, NH. Come see dozens of stellar British cars, including this year’s featured Marques: JAGUAR, XK120, XK140, XK150, XKE, XKR, XK8 & F-Type.

The event is FREE to attend; donations are gratefully accepted and will be split between High Hopes Foundation and the NH Food Bank. There will be food and drinks for purchase as well. Bring the whole family!

Peterborough Open Golf Tournament: Aug. 10, 2019

For more than two decades, the Peterborough Open Golf Tournament has been a fun day of golf, raffles, food and drink, and lots of friendly competition. High Hopes Foundation has been so thankful to receive a portion of the proceeds from this annual event.

This year, the tournament will be held from 8 am-1:30 pm Saturday, Aug. 10 at Crotched Mountain Golf Club in Francestown, NH. Format is a 4-person scramble, with Men’s Open and Coed Open divisions. Prizes also awarded for longest drive, closest to the pin, putting and more. Also featuring unique auction and raffle items (many golf-themed!) and of course food and beverages for purchase.

Registration begins at 7:30 am; shotgun starts at 8:30 am.

More details will follow closer to the event; in the meantime, follow our Facebook page, and feel free to reach out to High Hopes Foundation’s director, Tracy Dionne-Carlen, at tracy@highhopesfoundation.org.

Monster Dash 5K: Oct. 19, 2019

Grab your ghoulfriends for this ‘Thriller’ of an event! The Monster Dash 5K is fun-run (or walk, or zombie lurch!) being held this year from 9-11 am Saturday, Oct. 19, starting and ending at Greeley Park, 100 Concord St., Nashua, NH.

Wear your creepiest Halloween costume — or not! (for some of us, doing a 5K is scary enough without one!) — and join us for this lighthearted event. The Monster Dash is one of five family-friendly races in the Gate City Series, and is sure to be a great time!

Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume and Best Group Costume. Race is rain or shine — or zombie apocalypse!

Chocolate, Wine & Cheese Festival: March 22, 2019

Our recent 6th annual Chocolate, Wine & Cheese event was a huge success! More than 300 people joined us at the Radisson Hotel Nashua to enjoy samples of some of the finest taste treats from dozens of local vendors. There were 70 different wines to try, along with fine chocolates, a wide variety of delicious cheeses, and loads of other food items -- including the Radisson’s incredible passed hors d’oeuvres for the VIP attendees.

We were blessed to receive two incredible donations: One from Kevin & Pam Bartlett, a past Experience family who graciously collected $1,000 in memory of their son, Kyle; the other, a $1,500 check from local author, Elizabeth McKinney, proceeds from the sale of her lovely children's book, "What Makes Me Special!". Thank you both so much! We are grateful to have you as part of the High Hopes Foundation family!

Read more about McKinney’s family and order your own copy of “What Makes Me Special!” here: https://bit.ly/2ThBRVv. We are so grateful for you, Elizabeth! THANK YOU!

Additionally, local photographer Sandra Stewart volunteered her time and talent to capture these wonderful images from the evening. Thank you for offering your services to us, Sandra! If you're looking for a photographer, check out her website.

Thanks so much to our presenting sponsor, Eastern Bank, and our event partner, Cava de Vino. Lots of great photos from this event can be found on the HHF Facebook page!
