Approximately $8,000 Raised in the 14th Annual Peterborough Open High Hopes Golf Tournament in Jaffrey

JAFFREY - On August 20th, more than 100 golfers showed up to play in the 14th Annual Peterborough Open to benefit the High Hopes Foundation of New Hampshire. The tournament took place at the Crotched Mountain Golf Course in Francestown and generated approximately $8,000 for the organization. Based in Merrimack, the mission of the organization is to provide wishes for New Hampshire children with serious and chronic illnesses.

The High Hopes Foundation would like to congratulate the winning team of Walt Hautanen, Elaine Hautanen, Gary Davis, and Sally Davis, recipients of the "Sarge Trophy" for their victory in the tournament. Special thanks also go out to Contemporary Chrysler-Dodge of Milford, NH for donating the Hole in One prizes, and to Sarge Thibodeau for organizing the event. In addition, High Hopes would like to thank all the hole and raffle sponsors, the vendors, players and volunteers for making this another successful tournament. And finally, many thanks to the Crotched Mountain Golf Course for allowing us to host the event.
