If you were in the Saturday audience of Peacock Players’ production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” and you saw me get eliminated on my very first word, rest assured: It was a set-up! I’m just a patsy! It was all prearranged! And also: I may have to move. Across the country. Or out of it.
This Saturday, I’m looking forward to an impressive three-band lineup at The Telegraph Events big “Cabin Fevah Relievah” gig in the Bounty Room of The Holiday Inn, Nashua. We’ll be rockin’ all night to local big-names Casual 6, Small Town Stranded and Fatha Groove. This is good-time rock ‘n’ roll with truly talented musicians. Next Friday, April 10, don your detective hat and interrogate the suspects at a fun-filled evening of “Clue”-gathering and mystery-solving, at High Hopes Foundation’s annual Gala. The event will begin at 6 p.m. at the Manchester Country Club, 180 S. River Road. Emcee for the evening is the always-fun Morin, who will get into the act as one of the many costumed characters attendees can hit up for clues in the whodunnit. Morin’s new endeavor, Chew Hampshire, is a co-sponsor of the event, with Brookstone.
