Always There Volunteer

For the last four years I’ve had the honor watching Mark Langis ride in on his ‘white horse’ (typically disguised as a truck) save our backs .  So many times he would bring supplies to events, schlep tools, wood, and wires and then he would make sure that everything was going smoothly.  Mark stays well after the end of an event to clean up and return supplies back to our storage shed.  He has been helping us behind the scenes for the last 20 years – long before I joined this esteemed organization.

Mark isn’t someone who attends meetings on a regular basis. Mark is someone you call, explain your needs to, and voila! He’s there before you arrive.  He always has a smile on his face and energy in his step and he makes each event enjoyable.  He loves High Hopes.  You can see it on his face.

Mark is a husband, father, and grandfather.  Mark is a Marine and a much appreciated volunteer.  We are truly fortunate to have him as part of our organization!
