22nd Peterborough Open Benefits High Hopes Foundation
The great weather was not the only thing that made August 17th a beautiful day at the Crotched Mountain Golf Club in Francestown NH. It was the 82 golfers that came out to support the 22nd Peterborough Open to benefit High Hopes Foundation’s mission. The game was friendly, competitive and fun for all levels of golfers. After the game everyone enjoyed an old fashion BBQ while bidding on interesting raffle items. Over $6500 was raised!!
High Hopes gives a “big” thank you to all who participated and worked so hard to make this day happen.
A special thank you to Sarge Thibodeau and Bruce McComish who have organized this event for the past twenty two years. Their long term dedication to High Hopes work is greatly appreciated. We also give a special thank you to the Dreher family who spoke about what it meant to their son Gus to be granted his dream of a family trip to Animal Kingdom. Gus lives with the day-to-day challenge of having Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and listening to his mother Tonya speak about this made everyone realize the importance of their participation in this event.
